The property is situtaed in Herrada an area on the outskirts of the much sought after town of Los Montesinos and within walking distance to the numerous restaurants, cafés and shops. There are schools, a town hall, medical clinic, music and language centres as well as banks, hardware stores, hair salons, butchers and bakers plus numerous other trades. There is a street market every Friday afternoon and the wonderful mix of Spaniards and multi-national expats who enjoy a lively social calendar provided by the Town Hall.

Los Montesinos is a small town of the southern part of the Province of Alicante. With very good access to the routes to A7 and CV.945 only 15 minutes from the golden sandy beaches of Guardamar, Torrevieja and La Mata. Both the airports of Alicante and Murcia are within 40 minutes. Not forgetting the multiple golf courses, spa´s and the Salt Lakes of Torrevieja, which provide the only microclimate recommended for problems of asthma, cardiac and arthritic pain as well as the fantastic pink and orange sunrises and opportunities for a glass of wine or sangria for sundowners.

Easy access via the A7 to all the historic and cultural sites of Spain; Elche, Cartagena & Altea are within an hour´s drive, Madrid is only a 4.5 hour drive or 2 hour train journey from Alicante as is Barcelona. Valencia could be visited for the day but then why only a day when you´re living in Spain.
